It has become clear that the very nature of work has changed in the past few generations. What are the future challenges facing the occupational health and safety field?

Just about everything has changed as a result of a technological revolution that has swept over the developed world in the last quarter of a century. The changes have impacted our day to day life and they have impacted our workplaces. Some of these work related changes have been studied and already there has been some understanding of them and efforts to deal with them. Others are still not understood and in some cases, not even recognized. Stress related problems and ergonomics have become serious work place issues.
